چکیده

Abstract To suppress the nonlinearity of an excited Van der Pol–Duffing oscillator (VdPD), time-delayed position and velocity are used throughout this study. The time delay is supplemental to prevent nonlinear vibration considered system. topic work extremely current because technologies with a have been subject several studies in latest days. classical homotopy perturbation method (HPM) utilized extract approximate systematic explanation for system at hand. Conversion of stability observed in Van der Pol oscillator by unstable time-delayed controller

We have demonstrated that an unstable time-delayed controller can provide a tool to control the stability of Hopf bifurcation. The unstable time-delayed controller has used to stabilize an unstable periodic orbit operating in subcritical mode. By developing a new coupling method the unstable timedelayed system was improved to be applied for conversion of stability in Hopf bifurcation system. In...

Van der Pol’s Oscillator under Delayed Feedback

The effect of delayed feedback on oscillatory behaviour is investigated in the classical van der Pol’s oscillator. It is shown how the presence of delay can change the amplitude of limit cycle oscillations, or suppress them altogether. The result is compared to the conventional proportional-andderivative feedback. The derivative-like effect of delay is also demonstrated in a modified equation w...

Chaos Suppression in Forced Van Der Pol Oscillator

This paper presents a new method of controlling chaos in the nonlinear Van Der Pol oscillator with uncertainties. The proposed method is based on a nonlinear observer to estimate unmeasured velocity signal coupled to a control law. The observer ensures, firstly, an asymptotic convergence of the velocity estimation error. Then, the control law, which is based on the estimated variables, forces t...

An Approximate Solution for a Modified Van der Pol Oscillator

In this paper, a Van der Pol oscillator containing a periodic oscillator is considered. A simple and effective iteration procedure to search the solution of the modified Van der Pol oscillator equation is proposed. This procedure is a powerful tool for determination of periodic solution of a non-linear equation of motion. The solutions obtained using the present iteration procedure are in good ...

An approximate solution of the classical Van der Pol oscillator coupled gyroscopically to a linear oscillator using parameter-expansion method

In this article, we are dealing with a model consisting of a classical Van der Pol oscillator coupled gyroscopically to a linear oscillator. The major problem is analyzed. The regular dynamics of the system is considered using analytical methods. In this case, we provide an approximate solution for this system using parameter-expansion method. Also, we find approximate values for frequencies of...
